Friends of St Andrew’s Parish Church

The object of the Friends is to maintain, repair, restore, preserve, improve, beautify and reconstruct for the benefit of the public the fabric of the Church of St Andrew’s, its monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard.

Formed over 20 years ago, the Friends of St Andrew’s (FoStA) is a group of people who appreciate the importance of the building to the well-being of the town.  They want to conserve it for future generations and encourage its use by the whole community.

Funds are raised throughout the year by organising quiz evenings, concerts, summer lunches, outings and supporting St Andrew’s events with teas and refreshments.  An annual newsletter is sent to members.
