Waverley Singers
The Waverley Singers is a long-established, friendly and enterprising choir of around 100 singers, based in Farnham, Surrey. Our musical director is Richard Pearce.
We perform four or more concerts a year with professional soloists and instrumentalists, in venues which include St. Andrew’s church, Farnham, St Lawrence’s church, Alton, Farnham Maltings, St Andrew’s Garrison church, Aldershot, and St Thomas on The Bourne.
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7.30 to approx. 9.45pm, September to early July at South Farnham School, Menin Way, Farnham.
Recent events have included a wonderful tour of Vienna and Bratislava in July 2019 and an inspiring Workshop on the B minor Mass in January 2020.
New members are welcome to try us out at rehearsals at any time. We have special schemes for students and young singers, including our Scholarship programme.
